De Puy Hip Claims

In August 2010, DePuy Orthopaedics (a division of Johnson & Johnson) recalled two hip-replacement units, the ASR XL Acetabular System and the ASR Hip Resurfacing System. Approximately 3,500 Irish people were fitted with the faulty hip replacement implants with the majority based in the south and south east of the country.

We are representing a number of clients who have suffered various side effects such as swelling, pain, dislocation, skin rashes and walking difficulty due to their faulty hip replacement and who have undergone revision surgery to remove and replace the faulty hip implant. In addition we act for clients who have not yet had the faulty implants removed, but may require their removal in the future and are undergoing monitoring and blood tests so as to ensure cobalt and chromium levels are at an acceptable level.
